This fifth update 5th April 2020 on the process for developing the proposal for the Decade of Healthy Ageing (2020-2030) aligned to Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focuses on:

• discussion and endorsement of the draft proposal at the 146th meeting of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Executive Board meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, and the adoption of a draft decision to go forward to the World Health Assembly in May; and
• key events and ongoing and new initiatives across the Decade’s Action Areas and enablers.
