Welcome to our Wikipedia project webpage
Can we change the way people think about ageing? Can we make evidence easibly accessible? Together, we can do it.
The CCGAP wikipedia project was launched on October 1st, 2020. The International Day of Older Persons (IDOP) is a special date that marks the United Nations (UN) recognition of the opportunities and challenges of population ageing in the 21st century. A day when we can celebrate increases in life expectancy and raise awareness of the need for action to ensure good health in older ages.
Evidence has a pivotal role in informing this global effort. Therefore, we have launched our Cochrane Campbell Global Ageing Partnership Wikipedia Project. As part of our strategy for the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing, we have set this project with the mission to include high quality evidence in wikipedia articles focusing on topics related to ageing and older apopulations.
You can visit our Wikipedia project page and learn more on how to get involved in this effort to make Cochrane and Campbell evidence on ageing topics easily accessible to people around the world.
This project is led by Monserrat Conde.
